7-DAY ITINERARY
IN LOMBOK
7-Day Itinerary
7 Days | Immersion in Lombok
Seven days is the luxury of no longer having to choose. Time to move from the humid jungle of the North to more confidential lagoons, slow down in Tetebatu, cross the sunlit South and finish on the clear waters of the Gili Islands.
Choose this journey →This itinerary is a travel base. It can be adjusted according to your dates, your pace, your arrival point, the level of accommodation you want and on-the-ground conditions.
Who is it for?
Travelers who want to explore Lombok more widely: nature, culture, beaches, scenic roads, the Gili Islands and more confidential islands in a complete format.
Day 1
The force of the elements
North · Senaru · Sendang Gile · Tiu Kelep
We begin where Lombok breathes most powerfully, at the foot of Rinjani. The road rises, the air becomes cooler and the landscapes feel more volcanic.
Departure toward the North with your local driver-guide. We leave the coast behind, passing through villages, valleys and the first slopes of Rinjani.
Walk toward Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep according to the group’s pace and the conditions of the day. Here, the power of water is felt in the mist, the sound and the cool air.
Lunch or a simple pause facing the green valleys of Senaru.
Depending on timing, possible stop around traditional villages, vanilla gardens or mountain roads.
Return to your accommodation or check-in depending on the organization planned for the next part of the journey.
Day 2
Water in all its forms
Benang Stokel · Benang Kelambu · local craftsmanship
The Lombok of springs, hands and rural roads. This day goes deep into the center of the island: waterfalls, dense vegetation, artisan villages and local scenes of daily life.
Departure toward Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. The road crosses a more rural, quieter Lombok, less visible from classic tours.
Discovery of the waterfalls according to your pace, the weather and the time available. Benang Kelambu is one of Lombok’s most distinctive waterfalls.
Simple pause, then back on the road through agricultural landscapes and central villages.
Possible stop around pottery, weaving or another local craft depending on the selected itinerary.
A calm end to the day, with a deeper view of Lombok: water, villages, craftsmanship and inland roads.
Day 3
Absolute green
Tetebatu · rice fields · plantations · Sarang Walet
In Tetebatu, time slows down. The green becomes denser, the scenes simpler, the roads narrower. This is contemplative Lombok.
Departure to one of the island’s most authentic areas, between hills, plantations and agricultural landscapes.
A walk or gentle discovery around rice fields, traditional irrigation systems, rural paths and local life.
Possible discovery of coconut oil, vanilla, cocoa or other local productions depending on availability.
Depending on conditions, a refreshing stop at Sarang Walet or another nature stop, with an intentionally slower pace.
Return to your accommodation or transfer to the area planned for the next part of the journey.
Day 4
The Secret Gilis
Sekotong · Gili Nanggu · Gili Kedis · Gili Sudak
We leave the beaten path for the lesser-known islands of the Southwest. Here, the journey changes rhythm: more silence, fewer people, more space.
Coastal road toward the boat departure area, depending on your accommodation and the conditions of the day.
Boat trip organized with our local team toward Gili Nanggu, Kedis, Sudak or other islands depending on feasibility and weather.
Lunch break or free time depending on the planned organization. You take time to slow down, walk, swim or simply observe.
Swimming, snorkeling or a quiet moment on the sand depending on sea conditions and your energy of the day.
Return by boat, then transfer to your accommodation.
Day 5
Sasak land & the sunlit South
Sade · Kuta Lombok · Mawun · Tanjung Aan · Merese
We head down toward the bright light of the South. The landscapes become more open, the hills drier, the bays wider.
Possible visit to a Sasak village, weaving workshop or craft location to understand the houses, gestures and local history.
Discovery of Kuta Lombok, Mawun, Tanjung Aan or other stops depending on conditions, timing and your pace.
Swimming, viewpoint, coffee stop, contemplation or beginner surf session depending on your level and the conditions of the day.
A final look at the horizon from a panoramic area of the South, depending on weather and the day’s organization.
Day 6
Wild coast & panoramas
Nipah · scenic roads · beaches · viewpoints · slow pace
A day to breathe differently: open roads, ocean views, quieter beaches and time left for spontaneous stops.
Departure toward a more open coastline, with possible stops depending on light, weather and your stay area.
Free time to explore quieter bays, coastal roads or viewpoints according to the conditions of the day.
Simple pause with the ocean as your horizon, depending on organization and timing. Nipah can be an ideal stop to reconnect with a calmer, more local and more direct Lombok.
Progressive return, photo stops, coffee or swim depending on your energy and conditions.
A lighter end to the day, designed as a pause before the final sea experience.
“Great for grilled fish by the water. Calm, authentic and without fuss. The real Lombok.”
— Yves Carrensac, Local Guide · Google review — Nipah Beach
Day 7
The turquoise interlude
Gili Trawangan · Gili Meno · Gili Air · snorkeling
We end beautifully with the glow of the iconic Gili Islands. After waterfalls, villages, roads and beaches, the journey closes on clear water.
Transfer to the boat departure area depending on your accommodation. The local team coordinates timing to avoid poor combinations of road, harbor and schedules.
Mask, snorkel, boat, clear sea. We explore the planned spots according to weather, current, visibility and the day’s crowds.
Lunch break or free time depending on the planned organization. You simply enjoy the atmosphere of the Gili Islands.
Final snorkeling spots or a quieter moment on the sand depending on your energy and sea conditions.
Return by boat, then transfer to your hotel or final destination depending on your timing.
The Macadamia experience
