IN LOMBOK

Mountain & Trekking

The peaks of Lombok

From the breathless immensity of Rinjani to the more accessible trails of fertile hills. Two approaches to the mountain: physical adventure or gentle contemplation, always guided by the weather and your rhythm.

Listen to the mountain before taking it on

In Lombok, the mountain is not just about reaching the top. There is the majesty of the volcano, but also the quiet beauty of the surrounding ridges. Between accessible Soft Trekking and more demanding Rinjani Trekking, we help you find the right balance — where effort becomes part of the pleasure, not a constraint.

Chapter 1

The mountain within reach

Bukit Pergasingan and soft trekking in Lombok

Soft Trekking

Walk, breathe, see Lombok from above

Hills · villages · panoramas · accessible walking

Soft Trekking is the ideal alternative for travelers who want to see Lombok from above without pushing themselves to exhaustion. Here, you walk between rice fields, hills, villages and panoramas to catch the light, feel the terrain and absorb the nature. A generous mountain experience, accessible to many travelers.

Pusuk → Senggigi

Gentle nature · possible monkeys · sea panoramas

A green and accessible immersion, between forest, viewpoints and a softer atmosphere. Nature without excessive effort.

Bukit Pergasingan

Sembalun Valley · moderate effort · powerful view

A natural balcony over the Sembalun Valley. Moderate effort for a very powerful visual reward.

Bukit Anak Dara

Wilder · higher · active walkers

Wilder, higher, more physical. For walkers who want to feel the mountain rising beneath their feet.

Soft Trek Camp — 2J/1N

Night in the mountains · sunset · sunrise

Sleep under the stars without aiming for the volcano summit. A suspended moment, between camp life, evening light and waking up facing the ridges.

Soft Trekking routes are adjusted according to your level, your departure area, the weather and the time available.
Chapter 2

Rinjani: a quest, not just a hike

Rinjani trek in Lombok, crater and mountain

Rinjani Trekking

The volcano, the crater, the lake

Summit · crater · lake · Sembalun route · Senaru · Torean

Climbing Rinjani is a transformative experience, but one that must be earned. Because safety and humility come first, every departure is validated according to your physical condition, the season, park opening status and weather conditions. It is not just a summit: it is a journey toward the crater, the lake and yourself.

Local validation required

No Rinjani departure should be confirmed without field verification: weather, park opening status, real fitness level, chosen route, duration and local organization.

Sembalun Route — Summit

Intense format · roof of Lombok · physical effort

The most direct route to the roof of Lombok. Intense, mineral, unforgettable. Reserved for travelers ready for real physical commitment.

Senaru Route — Crater & Lake

Tropical forest · crater · Segara Anak

A route more focused on crossing tropical forests, panoramic views and access to the crater depending on the chosen format.

Route Torean

Canyon · spectacular landscapes · immersive descent

A visually powerful route, with spectacular landscapes and a strong sense of adventure. To be confirmed according to conditions and local feasibility.

Long formats — 3D/2N or 4D/3N

More progressive pace · immersion · hot springs depending on route

For travelers who do not want to rush. To experience the mountain, the crater, the lake and the hot springs according to the route, the season and the conditions.

The Rinjani ascent is closed every year from January 1 to March 31 for the rainy season, safety and park preservation. During this period, only Soft Trekking alternatives should be proposed.
★★★★★

“A monumental experience! It was hard, my legs still remember it, but reaching the summit for sunrise is something you do once in a lifetime. The view over the lake and crater is simply unreal. Huge thanks to the porters, who are real supermen. If you have the mindset, go for it — you will not regret it!”
